This book documents Australia’s long-standing obsession with the sport of cricket, told through studiously commissioned essays and meticulously researched photography. At just over 400 pages, with 250+ images and 100,000 words, the scale and schedule of this project demanded careful planning and strategic thinking.
The project necessitated working closely with the book’s uncompromising editor Christian Ryan, a collaborative partnership central to the project’s success. A system employing elegantly restrained typography, generous use of white space and a refined colour palette add a sense of quality and prestige, fitting for a book of considerable stature.
